As a .NET Developer you will build management, technical and planning skills by participating in projects and interacting with customers. You will be responsible for the following:

* Contribute to the programming of new applications using the .NET Framework, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, BizTalk, Business Intelligence, SharePoint, Office 2007 and other advanced components of Microsoft technology
* Consult with Avanade's Fortune 500 customers
* Execute test scripts and document the results
* Support, maintain and administer deployed solutions

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

*
Minimum of 0-3 years of project experience in a consulting environment

*
2-5 years of demonstrated functional programming experience and knowledge in the following:

* .NET Framework
* WCF
* Web Services
* QA & Testing procedures
* ASP.NET
* C#, Visual Basic .NET, C++
* Microsoft SQL

*
Demonstrated functional knowledge and experience in the following development methodologies:

* Object Oriented Development
* Component based development
* Patterns
* Design for reuse

*
Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

*
Demonstrated success working in a team

*
Strong customer service skills

*
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certification(s)

General Microsoft technology knowledge of the following:

* SharePoint Portal Server
* Content Management Server
* BizTalk Server
* Commerce Server
